Rallysprint Series 2010 Round 1

THE EVENT:
The event will be held at Barton’s Line, Ihuraua.
The venue surface is gravel with a competing length of 7.1km, 30% uphill, 30% downhill and 40% flat.
A Clubsport Competition License is required as a minimum.
The venue will be set up as a rally stage.
The event is an elimination rally sprint.
At the conclusion of a reconnaissance run and five official runs, the fastest 4 two wheel drive cars and the fastest 4 four wheel drive cars will run to determine an overall two wheel drive winner and an overall four wheel drive winner.
All runs will be timed in minutes, seconds and 1/10th seconds, with cars starting at one-minute intervals.

STAGE NOTES
Stage notes will be supplied as per previous years, if you wish to write your own this is permissible.

PASSENGERS
Competitors must carry a passenger for each run.  Passengers may be changed for each run, but all passengers must sign an indemnity before each run (including drivers entered in the event acting as passengers)

Multi-driver cars ~ More than one driver may drive the same vehicle for practice and the five official runs.  Thereafter only one driver may continue in the event.

ENTRIES:
Post entries may be made to: Wairarapa Car Club Inc. PO Box 19, Masterton.
Entry Fee ~ $100.00 (Wairarapa Car Club members $90.00) received up to 5.00pm 1st February 2010.
Entries received after this date will be accepted at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course

The maximum number of entries will be 50, but a reserve list will be established in order of receipt.

PROGRAM:
Vehicle auditing and documentation will be held at the venue from 7:30am to 9.00am Sunday 7th February 2010.
Drivers Briefing will be held at the Event Caravan at 9:15am. New drivers briefing will be held immediately after.
Reconnaissance will start at approximately 9:30am.
